Take a zest of Manga comic-book style with a unique visual twist. Add the fusion of comedy and tween angst from four mismatched “frienemies” and sprinkle on the usual embarrassment of growing up. Mix it all together and you’ve got My Life Me! Riding the wave of the worldwide success story of Manga comic books but with a completely new graphic look and off-beat effects, this animated sitcom is truly original. Driven by its characters and a healthy dose of comedy, My Life Me provides a privileged insight into tween life. The show follows four mismatched 13 year olds - ie comic book artist Birch, Sandra, Raffi and Liam. They did not necessarily choose each other as friends but have to spend more time together than they would thanks to their High School’s innovative “Pod program” which requires students to work in groups of four. As a result, they are going to have to find ways to collaborate, navigate new social terrain and strike a balance between their dreamy life in pictures and living in reality.
